I was very interested in ESSENTIAL JACO last week at Newbury but unfortunately Gary Moore pulled his point to point recruit out. Clearly there wasn’t anything seriously wrong as he is entered again at Lingfield today. His point form is yet to be tested but he was the stable’s first string in a hot Newbury novice last week and considering how well the second string ran I’d like to think he would have gone close.
This doesn’t look the hottest of races today and if he is above average he should take the world of beating.
