David Youngman is excited about the coming campaign at Headquarters

THIS is the month when Flat racing really gets underway with our first meeting here at Newmarket. The opening Craven fixture is a big favourite of mine and I love the Wood Ditton Maiden Stakes for unraced three-year-olds as we normally unleash a good horse in that race. I have seen some very nice types compete in it. As you see from my picture the winners’ enclosure is ready to greet the first success of the season.
