Q & A with Lingfield Park clerk of the course George Hill

How did you get into racing?
Growing up I spent time with the pony club, hunting and eventing. My family had no direct link to racing, but having left school I had a strong interest in the breeding side of the industry and spent time working in stud farms.
How did you progress from there?
Having spent a few years working for Weatherbys in Northamptonshire I then got the position of marketing manager at both Fontwell & Brighton Racecourses.
