WEAK RACE FOR THE TRACK SMUGGLER (Marcus Tregoning) was the paddock pick although he looked in need of the experience both mentally and physically. That didn’t stop him being nibbled at in the betting and the punt would have been landed but for a moderate effort from jockey Pat Dobbs. He’ll win races if connections don’t fly too high.
