THIS month sees the start of a very exciting time for us at Newmarket. By tradition the grass canters open on Warren Hill on the first day of this month and trainers will be eager to get some of their horses feeling the turf under their hooves, especially the two-year-olds. With all the trainers now back off their winter holidays it is back to work getting the horses ready for the start of the new season next month.
