MULAN (Sir Michael Stoute) is still a bit on the leg and looks as if she’ll need a longer trip (related to middle-distance winners). She was definitely ridden with an eye to the future here, being switched inside at the furlong pole and shaping much better than a sixth place finish suggests. She’s ready for handicaps, is fairly treated off 72 and will win races.
