Politologue shines bright to beat Fox Norton

POLITOLOGUE caused a minor upset when winning the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown ahead of hot favourite Fox Norton.
The bold grey gave trainer Paul Nicholls a 10th win in the prestigious contest after a superb round of jumping at speed.
It was a big victory for the former champion handler who hadn’t taken a Grade One chase in almost two years.
Politologue has been a revelation since dropping back to 2m and must be a leading contender for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Festival.
