At the time of writing there is simply too little evidence in the form book to give a valued assessment on the 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas except to say that probable superstar Churchhill is surely too short in the market place at 6/4 for the colts’ classic with so many unexposed three-year-olds appearing on the horizon.
However, the National Hunt scene is far from being dead and buried and the Bet365 Gold Cup has always been one of my favourite events having found the winner in six of the last 10 renewals betting ante-post.
