It must have been a very heavy Saturday night in Kent; the locals took a lot of wakening from their slumbers this morning.
The wife and I arrived at the track just over an hour before racing to find the place eerily quiet. “Is it on?” she asked.
But steadily they followed us in through the gate and by the time the action got underway a healthy crowd had assembled.
