Haydock 3.00 – Unexposed filly to Silence the crowd at Haydock
The Dick Herb Fillies listed stakes looks at the mercy of the classy Fallen Angel who some may argue is value at 8/11 given the company she is in here.
However, I feel this may be a prep run for her and although she could win this half fit, I think it’s worth chancing one at a bigger price.
SILENCIOSA should step forward from her reappearance run at Sandown where she stuck on nicely to the task when it looked like she might be swallowed up.
That was a good step up from her run in the Guineas where she just didn’t show up after looking unlucky in the Nell Gwyn.
Trainer Tom Clover suggested a mid season break would help her and judging by her reappearance run he could be right.
This looks a nice stepping stone and at 28/1 I think she is over priced.

Haydock 4.09 – Murphy an eye catching booking on Knight runner
William Knight tends to mean business when booking the services of Oisin Murphy and their record together could be enhanced tomorrow afternoon where NORFOLK BLUE in the 4.09.
Unsuited by his position in the race last time at Sandown he looked to finish with plenty of running under Cieren Fallon.
I certainly think he is capable of winning of his current mark and with Murphy currently riding like a man possessed in order to chase down Billy Loughnane I think we could see this horse go one place better than last time.
Ayr 8.00 – Yaaser Yes Sir!
I’ve been waiting for the revival of YAASER as he has now dropped to a mark in the 50’s and should surely be capable of winning soon.
His hold up style of racing often means he is the unlucky loser but I saw enough at Hamilton last time out to suggest he is not going to be far away here.
Ayr is a track that really suits him as the stiff finish often lends him the opportunity to rattle home from an unpromising position.
Lauren Young takes off an extra 5lbs which officially means he runs off a mark of 53 which to me looks far too lenient.
