Andrew Newton looks ahead to the eagerly-awaited November Grade One contest at Haydock Park

Jump racing fans can settle now as this month, as it’s the start of the top races again, including the Betfair Chase, staged at Haydock Park on Saturday November 19.
The Grade One contest is run over 3m 1 1/2f, and unlike a lot of the National Hunt contests that are steeped in history, the Betfair Chase has only seen 17 renewals.
