Love on course for Arc

Love produced a commanding performance on day two of the to win the Darley Yorkshire , stretching away from her rivals before easing down in the final stages to finish five lengths clear of Alpinista in second.

That was the three-year-old’s third straight victory, adding to the 1,000 Guineas and Oaks successes earlier this year, and all roads now lead to the Prix de at on October 4.

Speaking about the possibility of contending in the Arc, winning jockey Moore said, as quoted by Post: “It should be possible. We’ve always believed she’s a better filly on better ground.

“For me, she’s not a mile-and-three-quarters horse.”

The Arc is shaping up to be an absolute cracker, with Love going up against the likes of Enable, Ghaiyyath and Stradivarius.
