THIS is the time of year when a lot of our New market trainers start returning from their winter holidays. It is always nice to see Sir Michael Stoute back at HQ – he is never in town in January he either goes away to Barbados or to South Africa. While Sir Michael is away, able and reliable assistant James Savage is in charge at the yard and – along with the rest of the Stoute team – does an excellent job.
