JAG MAKES IT A SPEED FEST: John Anthony’s speed figures on Cheltenham bound tearaways

JAGWAR looks set for another bold bid at the Cheltenham Festival after his fine weight-carrying second in the Premier Handicap at the track on January 24.

He earned a speed figure of 160 which puts him right in the picture should he try to repeat last year’s Plate victory.
At the time of writing, he’s as low as 5-1 with some firms to retain his crown while Unibet were still offering double figures.
He is entered in the Ryanair too and he wouldn’t be a forlorn each-way hope at 25-1 given how well he handles the track.
It will be interesting to see how runners from the Dublin Racing Festival ...
