ONE race stands out at the top of the speed figures this month – the novice chase at Cheltenham on December 13. Jango Baie, Springwell Bay and Caldwell Potter all clocked good times in filling the first three placings.
Caldwell Potter’s 740,000 euro price tag means he’ll always be under the spotlight but this wasn’t a terrible effort by any means at this early stage of his life with Paul Nicholls. His 130 earned here is an excellent starting point for him to build on.
