SIR GINO has been all the rage for this race since a devastating performance at Cheltenham where he put Burdett Road firmly into his place. I thought Burdett Road was one of the better juvenile hurdlers we have seen this side of the Irish Sea in recent years so for Sir Gino to do what he did really caught my attention.
The clockwatchers were jumping up and down on the spot as he crossed the finish line and the time was backed up by a strong visual performance so I’m happy to name him as one of my ban...
