Ground Conditions concerns for Roksana and Indefatigable

Facing the festival, Dan Skelton has stated he will make late calls for Roksana’s place at the Cheltenham Festival. This is due to the weather conditions that dictate the state of the ground at the races. The dilemma lies between Close Brother’s Mares Hurdle happening Tuesday and the Paddy Power Stayer’s Hurdle being held on Thursday.

Roksana Won 2019’s Close Brother’s Mares Hurdle and Skelton is hoping to achieve the same, thinking of rendering Roksana to this race should the ground be soft or worse amidst the start of the Festival. A good to soft ground will be great for the second option.

As for Indefatigable, his management hopes for the dry well, keeping up with his last win, Handicap Hurdle at Martin Pipe Conditional. She is still in the excellent form Paul Webber claims, and he hopes to see her like that at the Festival this year.
