Ed Walker’s improving 3yo was a mighty impressive winner at Chester in June.
He looks set to continue that progression on his next start.
He was given a fine ride from young claimer, Ashley Lewis that day.
Making his move earlier than his rivals which ensured a prime position entering the straight.
On paper it looked a hot contest for the grade.
His earlier form suggests he is capable of mixing it with better handicappers.
The handicapper only gave him 5lb for that success which I thought was lenient given the manner in which he did it.
