We have now entered the height of summer with the main racing festivals coming thick and fast with the Glorious Goodwood Summer Festival at the back end of the month, the King George meeting at Ascot and of course the fabulous Newmarket July meeting.
The last named has the most wonderful atmosphere at the glorious July Course even if the meeting is fairly shallow in overall quality through the three-day meeting in the second week of the month.
