Rossa Ryan made 2023 one to remember, riding his first Group 1 winner on champion sprinter Shaquille in the July Cup on his way to becoming only jockey to ride 200 winners in the year, a feat he completed at Lingfield on December 20. Ryan is the fourth only jockey to reach the double century since 2017.
