Uttoxeter

12.50 – News to hit the headlines at Uttoxeter

This is a tricky four runner race where all four would have a chance on ratings.

However, I think DESERTMORE NEWS is the one who could have most in hand off a mark of 122.

With a run now under his belt, he should be fighting fit and I don’t think this is as hot as the Ffos Las race he ran in last time.

He performed with much credit that day and left the impression he will be better next time out. Predicted to be the outsider of the four here I think he is good value.

Aintree

2.25 – Nicholls hoping for No Dramas on chase debut

NO DRAMA THIS END makes his eagerly awaited Chase debut at Aintree on Saturday and Paul Nicholls throws him straight into Grade 2 company.

This looks a really hot race and whoever wins will surely be a chaser to follow.

I do believe this fellow has more scope than his rivals and his hot novice hurdle form suggests he could have too much for them.

Nicholls has started this season well and will no doubt have this horse ‘hard fit’ as he begins his Chase career.

The top races at the end of the season have already been mentioned so he really should be up to winning this before going onto better things.
