‘EACH to their own’ is a kindly proverbial maxim (I looked that up) that almost everyone accepts, unless someone prefers the aggressive idiom ‘stick to my guns.’
One of the joys of our Placepot Club is the different approach to selections by members spread all over the country. I couldn’t pick fewer than four horses in a handicap of 16 runners or more, and then only if they’re well drawn.
But some members choose just two!
