THE speediest chase performances came just after our November issue went to press as ALLMANKIND (79) just edged out ITCHY FEET (78) to win the Old Roan Chase at Aintree.
The winner had already seen a racecourse this season so may have put his fitness edge to good use and the form has already been franked by MIDNIGHT SHADOW — who was third here with 78 — going out and winning the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham.
