If George Boughey was to ever consider a career change, he could certainly make it as a commentator. Maybe he wouldn’t be quite up to Peter O’Sullevan standard, but he was impressive enough to be crowned ‘king of the callers’ after the latest Henry Cecil Commentator Challenge, an annual charity event for trainers, at Newmarket last month.
