You can probably mark up TREDMWEDGE’s performance here over course and distance here in November as he came from off the pace to finish closest to a classy winner that day. A repeat of that performance would see him go close at Kempton late this afternoon, if he is ready to roll after a break. His last run at Southwell wasn’t all that bad but a 5lb drop in the weights I’m sure will be welcomed by connections. Alexander Thorne takes off a further 3lb today and I think he looks weighted to go close today.
