Simon Nott enjoyed his two days at Leopardstown despite the crowds

I’m getting very fond of Bristol Airport and that it’s only a 45-minute flight to Dublin and the delights of Irish Racing. This trip was a special one, my second year working at the Dublin Racing Festival for professional punter turned bookie Anthony Kaminskas who trades as AK Bets.
One of his team, Dave O’Reilly, a quintessential Irishman, picked me up from the airport in what we assumed was in plenty of time. We arrived at Leopardstown just over two hours before the first race and he was stagger...
