You would think the Arkle would give you a good handle on who might be lining up here but the result threw up more questions than answers. Lulamba and Kopek Des Bordes both made mistakes up the straight which put paid to their chances and allowed Kargese to have another big day in the Sun.
Lulamba now looks certain to step up in trip as connections were mentioning this prior to the Arkle anyway, whilst Kopek Des Bordes is almost certain to stay in Ireland if history teaches us anything....
