ONE thing I’ve noticed down the years is how the lower grade horses – Classes 5 and 6 – tend to have had some kind of form, even a victory, six or seven races previously, hence their drop to the lower echelons.
So, I thought I’d have a go at a Pot, using a somewhat unsound plan, at Brighton on Tuesday, July the first, when five of the six races were Class Six and the other Class Five, hardly future stars stuff unless one or two go on to shine over the sticks.
