Twelve months ago, we saw City Of Troy ‘Eclipse’ his rivals in this big early July Group 1 – but at odds of 1/4 it would have been a shock if he didn’t.
As we I’m sure most of you know the Coral-Eclipse is a race that brings together the ‘Classic Generation’ 3yos against the older horses – but due to their age the youngsters get a handy 10lb off their elders and any 3yo fillies will get another 2lb.
Run over a trip of 1m2f, the showcase Sandown race will be staged on Saturday July 5 this year.
