The 6.55 at doesn’t appear to be the strongest of renewals and if you take out the hot favourite I don’t think there is much to fear. I think STAR SHIELD at 8/1 is a great each way bet as this represents a slight drop down in class and a good opportunity to get his head back in front. David O’Meara’s horse has been knocking on the door in better races but has been handicapped to the hilt and therefore unable to land the killer blow. In these calmer waters and now off a mark of 80 I think he can make his presence felt.
