Racing Ahead

Ben Tip of the Day

Ben Morgan

I’ve gone so far over the cliff on PROUD ARCHI I see very little point stopping now. Michael Dods’ horse is a frustrating sort as he loves being held up and therefore meets plenty of traffic and is reliant on a good pace to run at. Unfortunately you can’t guarantee a good pace at this level, especially at tracks like Beverley and Thirsk which he loves running at. However, you would like to think if he keeps putting in performances like he has been then his turn must come.

His course record is top notch so there is no worries on that front although the draw could have been kinder. Connections reach for the first time visor and if that can bring about some improvement then he must go close today.

Beverley 3.45 – Proud Archi
