Racing Ahead’s resident tipster Ben Morgan selects his best bets for Saturday’s action at Newbury and Bangor On Dee.
Newbury 3.00 – Trinity Street looks the right way to go
A wide-open Mares novice handicap hurdle and a race that tends to reward punters who look outside the box.
I think TRINITY STREET is an outside of the box type of bet as she has looked exposed in her novice hurdle starts over 2 miles.
A few of these beat her last time, but I anticipate the step up in trip and switch to handicap company to bring out plenty of improvement in this mare.
Her best run was at Chepstow, where the long straight allowed her to utilise her stamina, and I think this galloping track will also suit. A strong each way bet at 33/1.

Bangor on Dee 4.30 – Titanium looks solid on handicap debut
For the same connections, I think Daly could bring up a Saturday double, as I will be disappointed if TITANIUM RING isn’t a bit better than his opening mark.
Again, like his stablemate, he has looked a little tapped for toe over shorter, so this step up in trip will certainly help.
This doesn’t look the strongest 0-105, and it could be a nice race for a handicap debutant like the selection.
