Hamilton Park is riding high after being crowned the RCA Racehorse Owners’ Racecourse of the Year at the 2025 RCA Showcase Awards, held on Thursday evening at York Racecourse.
In association with the ROA, racehorse owners from across the country were invited to vote for their favourite racecourse based on their experience with and without a runner, as well as key racing factors including the racing surface, prize money and participant facilities.
Hamilton Park not only secured the most votes, but also achieved the highest average score, making them the clear and runaway choice of owners in 2025.
This prestigious accolade underscores Hamilton Park’s commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for owners, trainers and syndicates, and reflects the continued investment made across the resort to enhance every step of the raceday journey.

Delighted
Ashley Moon, Racecourse Managing Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this award, particularly when up against larger racecourses such as Newbury, York and Ayr who were finalists alongside ourselves and Bangor-On-Dee.
“To win for the second time in the three years that this award has been given is incredibly special, and even more so because it is voted for directly by owners, whose support means so much to us.”
Following this fantastic recognition, Hamilton Park is already looking ahead to another exciting season, with 2026 set to be extra special as the racecourse celebrates its centenary.
Building on its award-winning reputation, the team remains dedicated to delivering the very best in live racing, hospitality and entertainment, ensuring owners and racegoers enjoy an unforgettable experience every time they visit.
