Europe’s richest Flat race on the turf also takes place this month – as it’s off to France for the Prix de l’ Arc de Triomphe on Sunday October 5.
Last year’s winner Bluestocking scooped the £2.5million first prize for trainer Ralph Beckett – which was the first win in the race for the yard after their Westover ran second in 2023.

French trainer André Fabre also has a top record – winning the prize on eight occasions – more than any other stable in the history of the race. With the most-recent in 2019 with Waldgeist, so anything he sends to post must always be respected.
