Dynaste will look to bounce back from his Prestbury Park outing on Saturday by defending his Ryanair Chase crown at Cheltenham.
David Pipe’s grey looked good at Christmas, as he secured second spot behind Silviniaco Conti in the King George VI Chase at Kempton.
However, Dynaste’s expected success in the BetBright Cup Chase at the weekend didn’t materialise, as he had to settle for third spot behind Many Clouds and Smad Place.
There was talk of a run in the Cheltenham Gold Cup but Pipe has hinted that the Ryanair Chase is the more likely race for his March return to the track.
He said: “Dynaste ran a good race. He was just beaten by better horses on the day.
“We’ll keep our options open, but it all looks to be pointing to the Ryanair.”
