One of the feature races in February is the William Hill Hurdle and looking at entries it doesn’t look the strongest of renewals. You could argue Joe Tizzard’s Alexei was found out last time off his handicap mark but he was attempting to give two progressive, smart horses a fair bit of weight. He wasn’t beaten that far I didn’t think and to my eye certainly could go in again if a race worked out in his favour. I don’t think he will have to give that sort of weight away at Newb...
