MAY brings the start of the Guineas meeting here at Newmarket and I hope to see as many of you as possible come to the Rowley Mile and join up with me on the Saturday and Sunday.
We will see if the Aidan O’Brien colt CITY OF TROY is as good as they think he is and many other questions will be answered in the race.
My early experience of the 2,000 Guineas was having Royal Palace win it in 1967 when I was with trainer Noel Murless at Warren Place as a very shy young lad!
